A little bit about our Winner - Jenifer Zurachenko

Jenifer is waiting for her first Solo dress to be made at the moment. It is currently being cut out and thinks that it should be ready in about 6 weeks, so winning the Tiara has come
at just the right time!

Jenifer dances for the McCafferty School of Irish Dance. Her teacher is Fiona McCafferty Gauthier, and Jenifer thinks that she is both a wonderful teacher and dancer. Fiona is originally from Ireland and she and her sister Sinead, have both been world champions during their careers. Sinead is now dancing the lead in Riverdance on Broadway!

Jenifer has been dancing for Fiona since she was 7 and had her 10th Birthday on Good Friday, which was the day that she heard she had won her Tiara! Wasn't that a nice Birthday surprise! She is in grade 4 and currently dances in Open and Novice. She tells us that she is really looking forward to the competitive season getting in to full swing.
Her school will be represented this year at the Nationals in Toronto. Although Jenifer isn't quite at the standard required yet, she says she is hoping that next year she will be able to dance at this event. Her teacher is planning to enter some 8 hand ceili teams this year and she really hopes that the team she is on is one of those chosen!!!

The tiara is finished, in celebration of Jenifer winning on her birthday I decided to work on it first thing (normally I ask for a four week lead time). 

ABOUT THE TIARA

Jenifer had changed her mind on the original colour, and opted for mainly crystal with a hint of deep purple, as opposed to the original blue.
She was delighted that I was able to adapt to her needs.
This is one of the main benefits of having the tiara hand made.
I can accommodate to the individuals requirements.

The tiara is six cm's tall at the centre point, and is constructed from silver plate wire.
The center of the tiara has one large and two medium cabochon stones inlaid to give it that extra special sparkle, and is surrounded in highly reflective silver sequins and crystal beading with a hint of deep purple.

I am delighted with the results as I hope Jenifer will be.

Ms. Kelly e-mailed me a picture of my completed tiara and it is absolutely wonderful !!
  She told me that when she found out I had won on my birthday she moved my tiara up in her work schedule.  That is so nice.  I can hardly wait for it to arrive in the post !!  Ms. Kelly said she was going to send you a picture of it too.  Wait til you see it - it's beautiful !!
