Pictures of me and my dancing mates

The picture to the right sums up everything that's good about Irish dancing. I have made lots of friends from all over the UK, and from other countries too.

But this is my closest friend Izzy (on the right). We should really be great rivals as we go to different dance schools and both dance in the same age group Championships. We always cheer each other on though and we both hope that one day we'll be joint first place in a Championship (hopefully the Worlds if our mate Ciara gives us all a bit more of a chance!) It's great when they are calling out the results to have someone to share the excitement with, and to cheer when things have gone well, or support you when they haven't. I think all the dancers in our age group are really supportive of each other because we've all been dancing long enough to know how it feels!

By the way this was my new dress (July 2003). I've only had it a couple of days, just in time for the Nationals in Blackpool. I'll be cheering Izzy on again there as well!

The picture on the right is of Izzy and me at the All Irelands in Belfast in 2005. We both look delighted because we were side by side in the top 10 for the U17's. I was joint 8th and Izzy was 10th only 1 (yes one) point behind!

We also both have our new dresses.
My black one is from Gavin Doherty and Izzy got hers from Siopa Rince.

Ain't we a couple of swells!

	The picture on the left is of me after winning the Trainor feis 2004. You can tell by my smile that I was delighted because I managed to beat the former World champion! Nice cup too! On the right is just after getting back from America 2004 (see below) and I still managed to win Maguire O'Shea! So much for Jet Lag! Do you think I look pleased??? The picture at the bottom is me winning Trainor for the second year running. That was really exciting! And bottom right is me as European Champion in 2005. That was a great trip, and a fun holiday (report here)
