RIVERDANCE WORLD RECORD

On Saturday 22nd July 2006 114 dancers from
15/16 schools in Southern England formed the
longest Riverdance line ever!

They were joined by the two leads from the troupe
Eileen Martin and Colin Ryan who are currently on tour with the show and the whole attempt was shown live on BBC1 Television as part of their dancing extravaganza
Dancing in the Street
hosted by veteran song and dance man
& all round entertainer
Bruce Forsyth
and the delightful
Zoe Ball
who as a contestant on BBC TV's
Strictly Come Dancing
is no stranger to dance herself!

After the performance the feat was verified by the adjudicator from Guinness World Records
